There are two documentaries on Netflix and Amazon that are about the creative work that independant game developers do. I watched the first one a few years ago and just watched the followup.

Some of the people that are interviewed in the films are uncouth, and there are many moments that are downright unpleasant but also many scenes are inspiring and there is a unique view about creativity and how this type of work is done.

There is some good philosophy and gems of creative ideas that will be of use to creative types.

Towards the end of the second movie there are a series of interviews that really touch on creativity and different ways of creativity and modes of development. There are many moments that might spark ideas that any artist will appreciate.
